52 Books in 52 Weeks - Book 29: The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
This is the story of the Sawtelle family, told through the eyes of its youngest member, Edgar. David Wroblewski has succeeded in writing a modern day tragedy, full of the ups and downs of life from the perspective of a youngster who does not yet understand how the world works. Although it has slow portions, this is a compelling story about love and faithfulness from both family and beast. The Story of Edgar Sawtelle is not a book to be read quickly, but a book that I recommend if you would like to sit back and be drawn into a compelling story. Enjoy!
