If your only connection to this book is the fact that you have watched the movie on a Sunday afternoon, you have missed most of the story.
Published 50 years ago, Harper Lee tells of a family who takes care of those who are defenseless, just like the mockingbird. Assigned in many a classroom throughout the country, I highly recommend that you revisit To Kill a Mockingbird as an adult. There is way I could write a review that adequately discusses this legendary story, so I will leave my comments at this: you must read this book.

I read this book for the first time about a month or so ago, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of its being published. I loved it! If you want to check out my review for it (I couldn't do it justice either), please do!
