Last week we celebrated many milestones in Rocket Boy's life. He has earned his Arrow of Light award and together with his father, has decided what Boy Scout troop to bridge into. His bridging ceremony will take place early next month. Last week, we filled out the paper work for Boy Scouts, celebrated his eleventh birthday and for the first time allowed him to have a friend "sleepover" at our house.
He watched Star Wars Episode IV (the one that came out when I was a kid), received a guitar for his birthday and I registered him for guitar lessons. I am so proud of him! He is growing in every way: physically, emotionally and most importantly, spiritually. Being his mother is fun, rewarding and humbling all at the same time!
