52 Books in 52 Weeks - Book 51: Her Mother's Hope

Francine Rivers has woven an absorbing story about Marta, a country girl who faces many obstacles in her life. It is a fresh look at the importance of perspective and communication in families as Marta attempts to reconcile the way she was raised and the life she leads with the woman that she wants to be. This is the first book in a two part series and is a showcase for the writing talent of the author. I have no reservations in saying that this book is suitable for both teens and adults and will provide a welcome opportunity for both escape and reflection to all who read it.
